~Being the Mother of a boy, last from son up...to son down~

sometimes life sucks

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

Just when you think your life could not go any better....it's summer time, your best friend is in from out of town, your husbands transfer has been approved and he is now working in the next county which allows him to be back in the same bed with you(or him climbing in one side as you slide out the other depending on what shift he is working)...but non the less.... he is home.

....then it hits......a huge slap in the face!

We got word last Thursday that due to Chris's job we may have to sell our house and move to the next county over where he is stationed. And to make matters worse our house is only 8 miles from the county line.....8 miles!!!!! We may have to sell our house, take Kyle from the only town he has ever known, all the friends he has been with since Kindergarten and his 1st year of high school for a mere 8 miles!!!!

I wish I could go into more detail, but for now I can't. For those of you here in NC if you watch the news I am sure already know.

My heart is crushed, I have cried until no more tears will come. I have prayed and prayed again that the Lord will find a way for us to stay where we are.

Please keep us in your prayers.

OH NO. That is terrible. I will pray, pray, and pray that you will be able to stay where you are. That is just awful...8 miles. Can't there be a compromise? ugh. Keep us posted if you can.

So, so sorry. I know the situation that I think is probably spurring this but I haven't heard of any decisions made. Hopefully, it will not come to pass.

Oh wow I am so sorry to hear that! I can't believe living that close when make a difference. Our neighbor behind us thats in the military was just telling us they are supposed to live in the same town as they are working. He is a recruiter and I couldnt understand why that would make a difference where he lived. He somehow got out of it and lives about 10 miles ina different city. I really hate that for you and I hope something works out andyou dont have to sell your one and only home you built!

I saw that in the news. That sucks! And is kind of ridiculous. What if you couldn't afford to live in the area you were assigned? I mean there are circumstances!
