~Being the Mother of a boy, last from son up...to son down~

Trouble on the horizon.....

Tuesday, July 6, 2010

I am so excited! My BFF from Kentucky will be here tomorrow...eek!!!!! Here are some pictures from her visit last summer. We always have a blast when we are together. We layout on the beach, lounge on the boat, do some shopping and make some of the best mixed drinks you have ever tasted!
Heather and I go waaaaaaaayyyyyy back. We met during 7th grade in Jr. High(yes it was called Junior High back in the day and NOT Middle School) and immediately became the best of friends. Boy did we cause some trouble back in our day. I could tell you guys some stories that would have you shaking your heads and laughing until your face hurt. We have enough "inside jokes" to fill a legal pad and it's a wonder the two of us are still alive and kicking to talk about them.
I never had a sister growing up but Heather seamed to fill that spot. We were always together either at my house or hers. My parents welcomed her with open arms and she blended in just like she was one of there's too. We both had chore list each day during the summer and would run between both houses helping the other knock their list out so we could head to the pool. We have cleaned each others rooms, washed each others family laundry(yes I folded her brothers underwear more than once!) washed dishes and ran the vaccum.....now that's true friendship !!!!
So I am counting down the hours until her plane lands...so if you don't here from me for a few days, don't worry...I will be back with funny pictures and stories to tell you from our visit.
Be back soon!

SOO FUN! My bestfriend from Louisianna just left today! They are the best! I am so sad she is leaving. She comes in for two weeks during the summer. It makes me so sad that we live so far apart! We always said growing up we would live in teh same neighborhood and our kids will grow up to be best friends! Sooo SAD!
