~Being the Mother of a boy, last from son up...to son down~

Another of my "mom fail" moments....

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

Kyle's High School played there last football game this past Friday night.

...ya wanna know what I wore to go pick him up from the game????

My multi-colored fuzzy pj bottoms!!!

Thank God he didn't disown my right there in the parking lot, plus it was dark and no one could really see me...right?

But man how I have changed! Back in the day when I was in HS, I was never seen out in public with out make up and and a cute outfit...not to mention I would have killed my mom(okay, maybe not killed, but I wouldn't have spoke to her for a least a week if she picked me up wear her pj's!)

...this was one of the those HUGE mom fail moments where my warmth and comfort were placed before my child's social standing at school!

...I have SO lost my cool factor as a Mom!

I'm pretty sure I'm right there with you and would have gone in my pj's too! It is something age does to you!

I know what you mean...my daughter used to get soooo embarrassed of her Dad sometimes. But of course he had to "make" reasons for her to feel that way.

(our misfit Thanksgiving is just anyone who has no other plans and no where to go)

HAHAHA!! Look at it this way, if someone had seen you, it would definitely end up being the hot topic at his high school reunion ;)

Oops. Granted, I've done the same before. Sometimes I'm in no mood to change.

haha! Oh my gosh when I first read it, I thought the part that said "Plus it was dark" Said "Plus I was DRUNK" and I almost peed my pants!

PS I think you are still awesome.
